Aditya Ultra Steel Announces 5 MW Solar Plant in Gujarat; Reports Rs 5.87 Crore Profit for April-September FY25

Aditya Ultra Steel Ltd., a leading producer of rolled steel products, announced the establishment of a 5 MW capacity solar power plant in Jasdan, Rajkot, Gujarat. This announcement comes together with the company’s revealing that during the first half of the financial year 2024-25, it has achieved a net profit of Rs 5.87 crore, strong financial performance, and environmentally sustainable practices.

For the April-September period of FY25, Aditya Ultra Steel reported revenues from operations of Rs 312.39 crore and operating profit of Rs 10.50 crore. This is a trend in the company showing a development trajectory over the time periods into a very competitive market. The rolled steel manufacturer that sells its products under the Kamdhenu brand reported total revenues of Rs 587.80 crore and a net profit of Rs 7.69 crore for FY24.

As part of its strategic plans, the company would invest Rs 15 crore to set up the solar power plant with a capacity of 5,000 KWP. This would lead to the reduction of dependence on conventional sources of energy, improve operational sustainability, and move towards fulfilling its energy requirements, which would be cost-effective and ensure environmental conservation.

Another firm, Aditya Ultra Steel, which made its listing on the NSE SME platform in September 2024, is trying to push up its capacities and operational efficiencies in the name of the growth roadmap. It is considered an important action toward consolidating their market space while embracing green energy solutions in keeping with global sustainability goals.
