Archroma Achieves Gold Grade for Sustainability from EcoVadis

Archroma, a global leader in specialty chemicals for sustainable solutions, has received a Gold rating for sustainability performance from EcoVadis, placing it in the top 5% of more than 130,000 companies evaluated. The recognition is based on rigorous standards for labor and human rights, ethics, environmental performance and sustainable sourcing. Mark Garrett, CEO of Archroma Group, highlighted the company’s clear sustainability strategy, which includes ambitious environmental targets for 2030. Archroma aims to reduce water intensity by 40%, energy intensity by 15% and waste intensity by 10% between 2023 and 2030.

In addition, the company plans to reduce absolute greenhouse gas emissions by 20% and indirect emissions related to energy consumption by 40%. Archroma has been tracking its sustainability journey through EcoVadis assessments since 2017. Martina Beitke, group sustainability director, highlights the company’s focus on leadership, shared goals, and a culture of innovation and collaboration to create value for stakeholders and have a positive impact on people and the planet.
