Delhi Weather Today: Rain Predicted in Delhi-NCR
Delhi-NCR continues to experience monsoon rains, bringing relief from heat and humidity while the IMD forecasts light showers and cooler temperatures across the region.
Monsoon showers are persisting throughout the country, with substantial rain in mountain as well as plain areas. A number of states, such as Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Maharashtra, have seen severe rain, leading to rivers swelling in some regions. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast additional rain today in Delhi, alongside Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Bihar, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, and West Bengal.

The rain spell continues in the national capital. Rain was also registered this morning in Delhi and the NCR area. The continued rainfall has provided relief from humidity and heat to people, and a decrease in temperature has also been noticed. Previously, the capital saw persistent rain for almost 8 hours. Light rain has been forecasted in Delhi by the Meteorological Department for today.
The Safdarjung observatory, which serves as the Delhi’s base station, recorded a minimum temperature of 24 degrees Celsius which is three notches below normal, the IMD said. The maximum temperature is expected to settle around 34 degrees Celsius. As per the IMD’s morning bulletin, relative humidity at 8:30 am was 91 per cent.
Ridge had 24.8 degrees Celsius and 34.7 mm of rain, while Ayanagar had 25.7 degrees Celsius with 51.5 mm Lodi road had 24.3 degrees Celsius and 9.5 mm, it added.
