Eco Hotels and Resorts, an emerging name in the hospitality sector with its commitment to 100% carbon-neutral properties has expanded and has achieved a major milestone and will be entering Bengaluru, the Silicon Valley city of India, with a 60-room property.
This is part of the ‘EcoExpress’ brand, which embodies the brand’s mission to introduce eco-friendly practices in modern mid-segment hotels.
After the successful operation of its Kochi property last year, Eco Hotels is now gearing up to open two properties at Nagpur with 44 rooms and Kota with 63 rooms by end of January or early February 2025. Baroda and Aurangabad hotels are undergoing interiors and will be the next two hotels which will become operational.
Eco Hotels has also followed a strategic foray into footprints across all other thriving Indian cities. Up till now all the hotels it intends to operate are taken on long lease basis. The company’s board has recently granted approval for acquisition of a 58 rooms hotel at Shirdi for which the process has already started.
The company has already started discussions on new built hotels falling into EBOT model which will be constructed following 3D volumetric construction technology based upon the product supplied by its group concern namely Modulex. Earlier last year, the company signed an MOU with Govt of UP for opening 10 hotels in UP. Company plans to have all these hotels constructed using 3D Volumetric construction technology.
Vinod K Tripathi, Executive Chairman of Eco Hotels and Resorts, said, “This new property at Bengaluru is yet another testament to our commitment towards sustainable and conscious growth. Through our expansion into fast-growing markets like Mysore, Nagpur, and Shirdi, we are strengthening our footprint as well as catering to the travel requirements of environmentally conscious hospitality aligned with modern needs. Our aim is to redefine the Indian hospitality industry, ensuring sustainability is an integral part of every guest’s journey.”
The company’s CFO, Mr. Vikram Doshi, also commented, “This milestone aligns perfectly with the aggressive expansion strategy we are pursuing and our commitment to achieving profitability by March 2026. Dynamic decision-making, relentless excellence, and hardcore professional acumen will help us establish Eco Hotels as one of the leading hotel companies in India.”
Apart from expansion efforts, Eco Hotels has launched its innovative Ebot model, which utilizes 3D value metric construction technology to build and operate hotels. This approach further cements the company’s commitment to sustainability while setting new benchmarks in the mid-segment hospitality space.
Eco Hotels and Resorts is poised to continue to grow strategically with cities such as Nagpur, Kota, Mysore, Vadodara, Aurangabad, Tirupati, and Bengaluru, where business ecosystems are growing rapidly, and cultural heritage abounds with ever-increasing demands for eco-tourism. Every property in the chain would be designed with seamless comfort while sustainability would form the core, redrawing the line of mid-segment hospitality in India.
