Singh emphasised the critical importance of adopting electric vehicles to address escalating global pollution levels.
Politician Smriti Irani, Politician, visited the Khalsa E-Vehicles stall and praised the company’s new electric vehicle launch, the ‘Luka’ (Model L5), which is powered by a high-speed lithium-ion battery with an impressive range of 200 km. She appreciated the launch of this product which will be beneficial for the people who will be driving it and earn their living. ‘Luka’ is the first in its class in India. Irani emphasised that electric vehicles are the “need of the hour” and applauded the efforts of Narang Brothers and team, for their visionary work in advancing sustainable mobility solutions. She congratulated them for their contribution to India’s EV revolution.
Khalsa E-Vehicles, based in Muzaffarnagar, is an Indian manufacturer of commercial electric vehicles. The company operates under the leadership of Shivam Narang, Managing Director, and Satyam Narang, CEO.
The highlight of the event was the launch of Khalsa EV’s latest three-wheeler model, L5 ‘Luka’, which is equipped with cutting-edge technology. Powered by a high-speed Lithium-ion battery, Luka offers an impressive range of 200 km, making it the first in its class in India. Key features include an 11.77 KW battery, peak torque of 40 NM, a top speed of 44 km/h, and an advanced IPM motor. Additionally, the vehicle comes with a five-year warranty on its Lithium-ion smart batteries and supports fast charging within 4-5 hours. Luka also boasts an automatic gearbox for enhanced usability.
