Envision Energy has secured a 1 GW wind energy and 320 MWh battery storage project in India.
Envision Energy India has emerged as a major player in acquiring a 1 GW wind energy project and gaining its first BESS order at 320 MWh from Juniper Green Energy (JGE). Terms of Deal
The agreement between Envision Energy India and JGE comprises supply for 200 EN 182|5MW turbine platforms. WTGs are customized to the wind and site conditions in India having a rotor diameter of 182 meters and a hub height of 140 meters.
The package also features a 320 MWh BESS. It has supported the project for Firm Dispatchable Renewable Energy, which the SJVN recently secured through an FDRE auction round-one.

The energy storage solution integrates advanced technologies, including high-performance Lithium-Ion 315Ah cells, a 3.45 MW Power Conversion System (PCS) unit, and an AIoT-based Energy Management System. All components are manufactured by the Envision Group and meet global standards for safety and performance.
Specifically designed to be agile and efficient, BESS focuses on renewable energy generation projects which need firm, dispatchable power. The technology comes in 20-foot containerized unit. In that regard, the design has proven compact while remaining scalable for all kinds of applications.
