French Clean Energy Days 2024: Strengthening Indo-French Ties in Nuclear and Clean Energy Innovation

Business France launched the French Clean Energy Days 2024 from 18 to 22 November in Mumbai, India. The initiative is focused on Indo-French collaboration in nuclear energy and energy efficiency. As the official partner at the Nuclear Business Platform in Mumbai, France is touting its competencies and engagements in pushing clean energy solutions.

The event, organized by Business France, brings together French and Indian businesses, facilitating B2B meetings and networking opportunities, along with site visits for the mutual exploration of synergies in the nuclear and energy sectors. It aims to forge closer links between the nuclear industries of both countries, particularly in the context of technology transfer and localization.

Major French firms—EDF, Axon’ Cables, Cyberium, etc.—with nuclear technology, energy efficiency, and digital transformation. The recent ventures in India that EDF is undertaking, like its portfolio in renewable energy and the Jaitapur Nuclear Power Plant, prove that one of the most important partners in the energy transition of India is France. Localization of EPR technology and small modular reactors also become part of the “Make in India” and “Skill India.”.
