FRONT Materials Adds Alusid Sustainable Floor Tiles to Product Line

Alusid is teamed up with FRONT Materials for eco-friendly tile solutions in Europe and the Americas.
Alusid, the UK-based sustainable tile manufacturer, has gone one step further down the path to sustainability having announced an international distribution agreement with the Netherlands’ leading company in green building materials – FRONT Materials. Under the deal, highly prized architectural tiles manufactured from industrial waste will be sold to FRONT Materials.

Alusid is innovative in the way it approaches sustainable construction. Alusid, a UK-based company, takes industrial wastes such as glasses and ceramics, which would otherwise end up in the landfill, and reprocesses them into floor and wall tiles. These beautiful tiles are definitely much greener than the tiles produced by a traditional approach to tile making. Alusid’s products tend to have lower carbon footprint ratings, meaning more environmentally friendly.

FRONT Materials has been granted rights to the sole distribution of the sustainable tiles called Alusid in the country of the Netherlands and market throughout other European as well as the American markets. FRONT Materials has spent more than a decade in green building materials with a position quite unique to publicize these innovation tiles and put them before other people. Tiles by Alusid already drew attention in the UK, mainly about joint work with leaders of the retail chain, such as Topps Tiles and Starbucks. In this sense, the cooperation would be of great importance for the construction sector to reduce emissions of CO2 and make an environmental impact even lower. Alusid has transformed industrial waste into construction material in order to solve the problem of waste while attaining potential, sustainable substitutability that could replace other traditional building materials. This transaction with FRONT Materials underlines growing demand for a green solution that will have provided a benchmark on the contribution that any business could possibly make to bring about a much more sustainable construction industry future.

Alusid stands for the future and direction of sustainability in building and construction. The companies today will wake up when the carbon footprint is at top of mind and immediately become attentive to the cause; any product like Alusid’s tiles will give them a ‘key’ to ‘unlock’ industry environmental goals. Such a distribution deal forms part of the high interest that surrounds the theme of sustainable building materials in the world as key steps for moving forward into sustainable practices of construction.

A cooperation between Alusid and FRONT Materials goes beyond mere sustainability in the building sector. It is to set an example to others that this should also be done. Using innovative recycled products, leaps may be taken within the building sector in further reduction of their effects on the environment, hence preventing climate change as the building sectors strive for more environmentally friendly, sustainable building practice.
