Google has announced the launch of the Pixel Watch 3 and Pixel Buds Pro 2 in India. The Pixel Watch 3 became the very first smartwatch from this company to hit the Indian market. It is available in two sizes, viz., 41mm and 45mm. It will come loaded with Google’s latest display technology that features a refresh rate of 60 Hz, brightness going all the way up to 2,000 nits, dimming down to 1 nit. The updated design reduced 16% of the bezels and increased the display sizes by 10% on the 41mm version and by 40% on the 45mm model. Some other new features are worthy of mention, such as ‘Morning Brief,’ which makes it easy to see some very important health and fitness metrics related to sleep quality and heart rate variability. The Pixel Watch 3 also provides enhanced fitness tracking by advanced motion sensing and machine learning that tracks stride length and cadence. There is also the inclusion of six months of Fitbit Premium without any extra cost. Pricing for the Pixel Watch 3 has been set at Rs 39,900 for the 41mm variant and Rs 43,900 for the 45mm variant.
Equipped with the Google Tensor A1 chip, the Pixel Buds Pro 2 is lighter than its predecessors, hence ensuring improved performance and better battery life. They feature drivers of 11 mm in diameter with a new high-frequency chamber for better treble sound. The earbuds will introduce Active Noise Cancellation with Silent Seal 2.0, which adapts to the surrounding environment for more efficient noise reduction. Another key feature is ‘Conversation Detection,’ which can use artificial intelligence to turn off the music and switch to transparency mode during conversations. It automatically switches back to noise cancellation once the conversation is over. The earbuds also added support for the updated Find My Device network, allowing their exact location to be tracked in case they are lost or stolen. In the case of the Pixel Buds Pro 2, this will provide up to 8 hours on a single charge and 30 hours when including the charging case. The price ranges from Rs 22,900.
