GreenStitch is a software as a service provider focusing on sustainability for fashion and textile industry that is targeting to manage one billion tonnes of carbon emissions by 2030. The company located in Bengaluru was set up by Narendra Makwana and Arpit Samdani in April 2023. It has already managed about 15 million tonnes of carbon emissions.
“On the global scale, total amount of emitted greenhouse gases stands at around 54 billion metric tons with the estimates showing an increase up to around 75 billion metric tons by 2030. I think we handled something like fifteen million metric tons of CO2 until now and until my target year comes we are going to handle one Billion Metric Tonnes,” explained Makwana.
GreenStitch served more than 100 factories within its first year. It had clients such as Eastman Exports, Filatex, Nahar Spinning Mills in India while IDH and Incredible Fashions were some international clients.
By end of fiscal year 2025 GreenStitch wants to add another more than a thousand clients in addition to working with over ten thousand factories before the close of fiscal year 2026.
