Greenzo Energy, the leading green hydrogen solutions provider, in partnership with French energy company EODev, has collaborated with the latter to market hydrogen fuel cell power generators in India and Nepal. The purpose of this collaboration is to bring zero-emission energy solutions at a faster pace by offering EODev’s GEH2® hydrogen fuel cell generator, powered by Toyota technology, to South Asia’s critical industries. This is part of the larger mission to reduce the dependence on fossil fuels and boost clean energy.
Hydrogen fuel cell generators operate through an electrochemical reaction where hydrogen and oxygen are combined to produce electricity with no harmful emissions and heat. The joint venture has assigned Greenzo Energy as a distributor and service provider for EODev’s GEH2 ^{®} generators in all those segments that are in high demand, including agriculture, telecommunications, and transportation. These are the scalable, clean alternatives to the traditional diesel-powered systems, meeting the pressing need for emission-free energy solutions within the region.
A major aspect of this collaboration is the possible in-country assembly of EODev’s products by Greenzo Energy, in line with the “Make in India” policy of the country. The partnership will surely create massive business growth, which may reach USD 10 million in the very first year of its operations. Greenzo Energy’s network and technical expertise already make it a vital intermediary in the implementation of EODev’s advanced hydrogen technologies.
With the new partnership, EODev makes a strategic entry into South Asia with markets where clean and reliable energy is critical in dealing with the challenges of climate change and energy transition.
This business underlines the growing relevance of hydrogen-based solutions in attaining the ambitious sustainability goals of India, in particular by decreasing dependence on fossil fuels.
Conclusion
The partnership between Greenzo Energy and EODev is a significant step forward in the adoption of hydrogen-based energy solutions in South Asia. The partnership supports India’s broader objectives for energy sustainability and fossil fuel reduction by replacing conventional diesel generators with scalable, emission-free alternatives. The initiative promises to contribute to the region’s clean energy transition, fostering a sustainable and greener future.
