The beginning of July has been rainy for Delhiites, as the monsoon has actively arrived in the city. The IMD has forecasted rain accompanied by thunderstorms over the coming week.

As per the data, a partly cloudy sky along with thunderstorms and light to very light rain is expected today. The maximum temperature in the capital city range between 32-34 degrees Celsius during daytime and minimum temperature is expected to be around at 26 degrees Celsius which is below normal for this season. On Tuesday, intermittent rain occurred across Delhi, giving huge relief from summer heat, however, the humidity level remained high. During daytime, the sun was playing hide and seek. Sometimes it is sunny day and sometimes it is cloudy which caused humid. By evening, rain in some places brought relief from the heat.

Moving ahead, the IMD reported a noticeable rise in both minimum and maximum temperatures over the past 24 hours in Delhi. Maximum temperatures ranged between 33°C and 35°C, while minimum temperatures were between 26°C and 28°C. The minimum temperatures were normal, while the maximum temperatures were appreciably below normal by 2 to 5°C. Easterly winds prevailed over Delhi with speeds of up to 13 km/h.

Different areas in Delhi recorded varying temperatures. Lodhi Road stood at 34.2°C, Ridge at 34°C, Ayanagar at 33.4°C, and Palam recorded 33°C. The lowest minimum temperature was recorded at 22.7°C.

Weather in the Coming Days:

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast that intermittent rainfall will continue for the next 6 days, with no heatwave conditions expected during this period. Residents will continue to enjoy cooler, more pleasant weather.

Thanks to the rain, Delhi’s weather has turned pleasant, and the IMD has advised people not to forget their umbrellas when stepping out whether it’s for school, office, or a casual outing because the clouds are ready to pour again.
