Will it rain today in Delhi?

Cloudy weather is seen in Delhi since morning. Also, by day, the same weather situation is expected. It can expect light to moderate rain in many places. Besides, thunderstorm and speed wind shall be faced. The weather condition remains same in Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad. The highest temperature of Delhi is up to 31 degrees Celsius and lowest could be 24 degrees Celsius. According to the weather report, the city is expected to see rain throughout the week or at least until august 3.

Rainfall in Delhi – Area-wise Report

As per Indian Meteorological Department, On Tuesday, Delhi received 68.1 mm of rain at the main weather station situated in Safdarjung between 8:30 AM and 2:30 PM. Other parts of the city received different levels of rainfall, Ridge area received 129.5 mm, Lodhi Road 71.8 mm, Pragati Maidan 45.5 mm, and Pusa 37.5 mm. The meteorological department also cited that the minimum temperature in Delhi was 26.8°C, 0.5°C less than season average, with the maximum temperature to reach 29.1°C, 5.8°C less than normal. Rainfall in Delhi in July has surpassed the average for the period. Based on the IMD, the national capital has witnessed 220.2 mm of rain till this month, which is above the normal average of 209.7 mm. Delhi has experienced a total of 322.2 mm of rain since June 1, exceeding the average of 270.1 mm. Monsoon had reached the city towards the latter end of June.
