Delhi NCR is facing rising heat, with no rainfall despite cloudy skies. According to the IMD, the monsoon has started withdrawing from western Rajasthan, which may soon affect city’s weather.

Humid Heat Grips Delhi NCR, Rain Likely Soon

Heat continues to rise in Delhi NCR, with no rainfall on Sunday despite cloudy skies. Dark clouds appeared several times a day but quickly disappeared which has increased humidity and heat. As compared to last week weather report, mornings now feel hotter and more uncomfortable due to strong sunshine.

Today’s Weather in Delhi

As per the IMD, the monsoon has started withdrawing from western Rajasthan and under anti-cyclonic conditions, westerly and north-westerly winds are blowing. Delhi NCR will have sunshine and clouds for now, with wind speed of approximately 15 km/hour. The highest temperature may go up to 34°C and the lowest temperature will be 25 to 26°C.

Light Rain Expected in the City

According to IMD, between 16 to 20 September Delhi NCR is likely to experience light rain. During the time, heavy rain is not expected to happen, however, light shower could also bring the temperature down and relief from humid heat, also it may make weather pleasant.

Noida and Gurugram Weather Condition

In Noida today, the maximum temperature may reach 34°C, while the minimum will be around 27°C. The sun will shine through light clouds, with no chances of rainfall. As per the report, weather is likely to remain same tomorrow as well. In Gurugram, the maximum temperature will be around 34 degrees Celsius, and the minimum could be 28 degrees Celsius. There will be scattered clouds in the sky with no expectation of rainfall today. The day will remain mostly sunny.
