Hyundai Motor India celebrates Environment Day 2025 by launching 'Environment Month' with eco-friendly initiatives like tree planting for safe driving, cashback on EV charging, dry wash services, and carbon-neutral oil offers.

Hyundai Launches Eco Initiatives for World Environment Day 2025

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has begun a series of environment-related initiatives under its 'Environment Month' initiative which it has recently introduced as part of World Environment Day 2025. Under its mission, the company aims to promote its customers in June through defensive driving exercises, green car maintenance, and embracing electric mobility.

As part of its 30-day initiative, HMIL launched Hyundai Bluelink Championship, a 30-day green drive challenge. HMIL will be planting one tree for every customer who scores a driving score of 90 and above on the Bluelink app throughout June. It is designed to instill good driving habits and even save the planet.

For the ease of customers of electric vehicles, HMIL is launching a special one-day offer on 5 June 2025. The first 1,000 customers of Hyundai CRETA Electric who will buy electric charging through Hyundai In-Car Payment system will be offered 100% cashback, the company added. The move is aimed at lowering the cost of green mobility and promoting transition to electric vehicles.

Hyundai is also promoting the conservation of water by initiating its Dry Wash Campaign. Customers using the dry wash facility at Hyundai service centers save approximately 120 litres of water per car wash. Customers are given a discount on the labour charges for service on Environment Day as an incentive to utilize the facility.

In addition to Shell, Hyundai is also providing Amazon gift vouchers to owners of automobiles with the Shell Helix Ultra carbon-neutral motor engine oil while servicing cars. The motor oil is sold at authorized Hyundai workshops and the vouchers can be redeemed using the myHyundai App. The offer is part of the company's initiative towards making eco-friendly automobile products available for public consumption.

All these initiatives are aligned with Hyundai’s broader commitment to sustainable development and its ongoing focus on making environmental responsibility a part of everyday customer experiences.

The campaign highlights Hyundai Motor India’s increasing involvement in creating environmentally responsible consumer practices while offering added value to its customers.
