Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IMC) Jammu organized a farm drive called ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ i Campus . Former mayor Rajinder Sharma along with Kapil Singh and Anil participated in the event and emphasized the commitment of the organization to protect the environment. The competition was held at IMC Jammu campus with the participation of students, teachers and staff. This project is part of the department’s ongoing efforts to contribute to the green environment and increase the biodiversity of the university. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Dilip Kumar, Regional Director, IMC Jammu, on the importance of inculcating environmental responsibility among the youth. The university plans to organize this event every year to support local forestry and green projects.
