KPMG, a leading professional services firm, has announced the appointment of Maura Hodge as its new Americas Head of Assurance, succeeding Rob Fisher. Fisher, for his part, will head KPMG's US financial services and insurance advisory division. Hodge has worked with KPMG for nearly two decades, most recently as ESG account lead, where he led the national environmental, social and sustainability measurement practice. governance (ESG), reporting and assurance. Her leadership is expected to further KPMG’s mission of helping businesses navigate these challenges with a multidisciplinary approach. Rob Fisher, who has been the US Sustainability Leader since 2021, has also had an extensive career at KPMG, which he joined in 1992. Fisher, primarily focused on clients in the financial services industry, has spent much of his career in this sector. Under his leadership, KPMG’s sustainability practice has grown substantially, showcasing the firm’s ability to deliver comprehensive sustainability solutions to its clients. Reflecting on his time in the role, Fisher said, “Leading KPMG’s sustainability practice for the past 3.5 years has been a career highlight.
