Postcard Travel Club, a community for conscious luxury travel enthusiasts, has tied up with RARE India, an organisation focussed on sustainable travel and wildlife experiences in India, Bhutan and Nepal, including boutique independent hotels, wildlife lodges and retreats to create a positive impact on environmental and socio-cultural norms via travel which is mindful.
Talking about this collaboration, Postcard Travel Club CEO and Founder Amit, "This collaboration with RARE India is a significant leap towards our vision of having over 500 partners on our platform by the end of 2024. Shoba Rudra, Founder Partner at RARE India, highlighted the role of collaboration in making travel more responsible."
In the partnership, boutique properties that feature a high focus on sustainability and social responsibility are highlighted, providing Postcard members the chance to have exclusive, rich encounters, such as tiger tracking in Kanha or Ladakh, snow leopard safaris, and off-the-beaten-path beach retreats in Kerala. Every RARE property is committed to sound environmental practices (i.e. compost in the resort garden), curbed waste management practices such as responsible disposal of solid waste and construction and containment of wastewater and effluents, besides reducing the dependence on non—renewable resources by saving electricity.
Postcard has aggregated about 90+ RARE properties across 19 States on our eco-tour platforms. They have also rolled out the Postcard Search Engine, a passion-led marketplace to help travellers find experiences and accommodations that hit all their notes.
