SePRO, an Indiana-based company focused on water quality and environmental restoration, has announced a majority investment from Stanley Capital Partners (SCP) and a minority investment from Goldman Sachs Alternatives. Founded in 1994, SePRO develops solutions for plant protection and water resource management, serving various industries such as drinking water reservoirs, industrial and commercial water consumers, flood prevention, irrigation districts for food production, watershed management, leisure, tourism, and specialty agriculture.
Stanley Capital emphasized the growing importance of water quality amid changing environmental conditions, which have increased issues like nutrient pollution, algae, and invasive species. SCP Founding Partner Patrick Hargutt noted SePRO’s potential as a strong platform for consolidating the water and water-related solutions sector.
SePRO plans to use the new investment to enhance its offerings in water management and other sectors through organic growth and acquisitions.
