Jaguar Land Rover is in a pioneering partnership with international tire maker Pirelli in the use of FSC-certified natural rubber tires for its all entire luxury vehicles portfolio. That marks JLR as the global first automaker in doing so while significantly underpinning further commitment of the company for responsible sourcing and stewarding the environment.
Sustainable Leadership in Automobile Sector :-
Beginning with the new Range Rover Electric, JLR will fit FSC-certified tyres to all its models, covering over 250,000 tyres per year. The FSC certification guarantees the rubber comes from responsibly managed forests; that’s biodiversity and the lives of local people being measured.
Part of its Reimagine strategy, JLR focuses on supply chain traceability and ethical sourcing. By adopting FSC certified tires into its brand, it ensures that rubber can be traced back to its source besides keeping the highest sustainability criteria in mind.
