Tata Power-DDL Launches ‘Green Warriors 3.0’ to Spotlight Industry Leaders’ Sustainable Transitions

Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited today launched ‘Green Warriors 3.0’, the third chapter of its sustainability awareness initiative.

It is now calling upon all decision-makers, brands, and people to share their singular stories of sustainability and mark their importance in making choices that will define the future of sustainability. The campaign, therefore, tries to bring awareness of how the much-required switch towards sustainable practices needs to be addressed in order to tackle the critical issue of climate change and global warming.

The campaign aligns with the “Urja Arpan” initiative by Tata Power-DDL, which is aimed at inculcating responsible and optimum electricity consumption through energy-efficient products and services in people and organizations. It also works as a platform for business leaders to inspire and motivate others toward adopting a sustainable lifestyle for a greener tomorrow.

The two categories in the campaign include B2B and B2C. For B2B, all participants are called upon to send in their sustainability story and its impact in a 2-minute video. Each video submission should introduce the company, one major sustainable initiative by the company, and its impact. Submissions are to be shared along with your name, business, and contact number by December 2024.

B2C participants can participate in ‘Sustainability Challenge’ that gets hosted every week on Tata Power-DDL’s social media page. Last date for the submission of entry: December 2024 (T&C applied).

Rewards: In the B2B category, the top 5 video entries will be rewarded, while in the B2C category, the top 10 entries will receive attractive gifts. All entries shall be showcased on the official social media platforms of Tata Power-DDL. A Certificate of Excellence will be awarded to the winners and a Certificate of Participation to all the participants.

All the entries received would be assessed and judged by an eminent jury comprising senior officials from Tata Power-DDL.

Commenting on the initiative, Gajanan S. Kale, Chief Executive Officer, Tata Power Delhi Distribution said, “Tata Power-DDL has been at the forefront of sustainability efforts, promoting responsible energy usage to reduce environmental impact and enhance community well-being. The ‘Green Warriors 3.0’ campaign marks the third chapter in this series, inspired by the tremendous response to our previous two editions. We would like more and more organisations to leverage this recognition to build a better and greener future for the generations to come.”
