Trane Technologies, a global leader in HVAC and climate control solutions, has announced a new commitment to reduce carbon emissions by 40 percent by 2030. Trane’s commitment to embodied carbon reduction is part of its broader 2030 sustainability goals, which also include the ambitious “Gigaton Challenge.” Launched in 2019, the Gigaton Challenge aims to cut customer greenhouse gas emissions by 1 billion metric tons over the next decade, a clear demonstration of the company’s dedication to driving significant environmental progress.
