UPSIDA and CEL Ink Landmark Pact to Accelerate Solar Energy and EV Charging in Uttar Pradesh

Uttar Pradesh is about to see big changes in its factories and businesses. UPSIDA and Central Electronics Limited (CEL) signed a deal on August 23, 2025, to get more solar power and electric vehicle (EV) chargers set up all over the state. This is a big move to add green energy and tech to UP’s growing industrial areas.

UPSIDA CEO Mayur Maheshwari and CEL CMD Chetan Prakash Jain signed the agreement, calling it a historic step toward a future-ready industrial area focused on being green and new ideas. The goal is to grow industry in an environmentally friendly way and help Uttar Pradesh reach its target of zero emissions.

Green Energy for Factories: The deal will put solar power systems in UPSIDA's industrial zones. This will mean cheaper power bills and fewer emissions for businesses.

Smarter Security and Tech Updates: Expect to see better security cameras, access control, and sound systems, along with a main control panel. This will bring smart city features to industrial areas.

Training Programs: The plan includes teaching industry people about green energy, sustainable practices, and new infrastructure.
