Waaree Energies on Monday said that it has started trial production at its state-of-the-art 5.4 GW solar cell manufacturing facility in Chikhli, Gujarat.
The company stated that this marks a significant leap in India’s journey toward self-reliance in renewable energy manufacturing, setting new benchmarks in innovation, sustainability, supply chain integration, and large-scale manufacturing. Additionally, with a 5.4 GW capacity, it holds the position as India’s largest advanced solar cell manufacturing plant.
