Delhi Rain Brings Back the Trouble of Rising Humidity
Delhi-NCR will see dry and partly cloudy weather with mild winds and rising humidity, light showers may happen in some NCR.
The weather in Delhi is likely to be partly cloudy today, with westerly winds blowing at a pace of 20 to 40 km per hour which will bring a mixture of mild coolness and humidity. The maximum temperature can increase up to 34°C, while the minimum temperature is also expected to remain close to 25°C. There will be no rain, but the clouds will temper the sun's intensity.
According to the Meteorological Department, while there is minimal probability of rain this week, surface winds will blow at the speed of 20 to 30 km/h for the whole day. Due to these winds, the heat will not feel as strong despite intense sunshine. The same wind pattern was seen on Wednesday also, which resulted in a marginally lowered night temperature.
During the daytime, strong sunshine, scattered clouds and wind will keep the weather pleasant, especially in the evening and night. No major changes in the temperature are expected, though there will be a slight difference between day and night. Although there is no expectation of heavy rain in the area, however the Meteorological Department said that some parts od NCR may receive light showers and thunder and can also affect the local temperature.
