Desco Infratech, KP Group Ink MoU for Hydrogen-gas Blending Projects
This partnership will help build green infrastructure and push India’s move toward cleaner energy
Desco Infratech, on Monday, said that it has signed an MoU with KPI Green Hydrogen and Ammonia, and Naveriya Gas to work on hydrogen-natural gas blending in the City Gas Distribution sector.
The company said the partnership will help build green infrastructure and push India’s move toward cleaner energy. The idea is to reduce dependence on fossil fuels and support the goal of Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
Under this partnership, Desco Infratech will share its technical skills to mix hydrogen with natural gas. KPI Green Hydrogen will produce green hydrogen, while Naveriya Gas will use the blended fuel in its gas network.
The project aims to cut carbon emissions, make better use of existing systems, and help India move closer to its net-zero target. It’s also a step toward energy security and self-reliance.
