the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy has Invited global investors, innovators, entrepreneurs, technology firms, and industries to attend the Bharat Renewable Energy Expo 2026, an event that is focused on making India shine in the field of renewable energy through international collaboration.

In the expo, policymakers, clean energy firms, startups, finance firms, and technologists are among those that are expected to participate, discussing the latest inventions and discoveries in the areas of renewable energy, green hydrogen, energy storage, electric vehicles, and many more.

According to the ministry, the event will become a platform for companies where they can find opportunities to invest, create partnerships and exchange information about new technologies, which can be used by India in its path to clean energy.

The government has also said that the expo is in line with the long-term plans of India towards its renewable energy ambitions, which include the aim to reach a total capacity of 500 GW of installed electricity from sources other than fossil fuels by 2030 and to move closer towards zero emissions by 2070.

The event will feature exhibition displays, business networking, investors' interactions, startups' presentations, and technology conferences on renewable energy manufacturing, finance, research, and innovations. Policy makers are also expected to discuss the policy framework and technological solutions that drive the transition in the global energy sector.

According to the Ministry of New & Renewable Energy, the objective of the expo is to increase India's standing as a leader of renewable energy at a global level through collaboration among domestic and international partners as well as innovation, manufacturing, and sustainable economic growth.

The Bharat Renewable Energy Expo 2026 is expected to bring together participants from the entire renewable energy industry value chain and provide an opportunity for investment, technology sharing and business collaborations to facilitate the growth of renewable energy both within India and elsewhere.
