The CAQM on Monday has rolled back the Stage 4 restrictions in Delhi under the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP-4) on January 16 due to the reason that pollution levels have marginally begun to improve. The city, however continues with Stage 3 restrictions as it remains in "very poor" in terms of its AQI. Air Quality Status The 24-hour average AQI of Delhi was 302 on January 16, as recorded at 4 pm. It is an improvement over the previous day that saw AQI touch 386, invoking GRAP-4 measures, the strictest under the Graded Response Action Plan, which were imposed on the city on January 15, as unfavourable meteorological conditions led to a steep decline in air quality.
