India Energy Storage Week 2025 to Drive INR 8000 Crore in Investments

The India Energy Storage Alliance (IESA) will host the 11th edition of India Energy Storage Week (IESW) from July 8 to 10, 2025, in New Delhi. This flagship international conference and expo is set to attract over INR 8000 crore in investments for energy storage, electric vehicles (EVs), and green hydrogen sectors. The event, held at Yashobhoomi Convention and Expo Centre, aims to position India as a global manufacturing hub by facilitating factory and gigafactory announcements, new business deals, collaborations, and foreign investments. With participation from over 1,000 companies and international delegates from countries like Australia, Germany, France, the UK, Finland, Canada, the USA, Israel, and Korea, IESW 2025 will strengthen India’s clean energy ecosystem.

IESW 2025 will feature dedicated days for stationary storage, green hydrogen, e-mobility, and manufacturing, showcasing both established and emerging technologies. Attendees will explore advancements in batteries, thermal storage systems, solid-state batteries, lithium-sulfur, sodium-ion, and other innovative solutions. The event will serve as a platform for knowledge-sharing, fostering partnerships among industry players, policymakers, and research institutions. IESA has partnered with states like Gujarat, Odisha, Telangana, and Chhattisgarh, alongside various government ministries, to promote a robust manufacturing ecosystem. The conference will also highlight India’s growing cleantech startup ecosystem, with over 6,600 startups operating across 450 districts, as reported by the Government of India in 2023.

The anticipated investments are expected to enhance domestic manufacturing capabilities and secure supply chains, driving innovation in energy storage and mobility sectors. IESA projects that Indian mobility and battery startups will attract USD 500 million within a year, further accelerating advancements. Over 150 key partners and exhibitors will participate, showcasing cutting-edge technologies and solutions. The event will facilitate Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) and collaborations, paving the way for significant developments in India’s energy storage and clean energy industries. By bringing together global and domestic stakeholders, IESW 2025 aims to create a transformative impact on India’s clean energy landscape.

In conclusion, India Energy Storage Week 2025 is poised to be a pivotal event for India’s energy sector, driving substantial investments and fostering innovation. By serving as a launchpad for new factories and partnerships, the event will strengthen India’s position as a global leader in energy storage, EVs, and green hydrogen. With strong government support and international participation, IESW 2025 will play a key role in shaping the future of India’s clean energy ecosystem, contributing to sustainable growth and technological advancements.
