India On Fast Track To Become Developed Nation By 2047
Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini announces India’s goal to be 3rd-largest economy by 2029, focusing on youth, farmers, and women.

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini reiterated that with Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the leader, India is on a fast-moving path towards realizing its vision to become a developed nation by the year 2047. He pointed out that the economic progress of the nation is poised to make India a third-largest global economy by the year 2029. In his address to a gathering at Rohtak, Saini stressed that the just-launched budget put forward by the Central Government shall be instrumental in strengthening the four key pillars of the nation's strength: poor, youth, farmers, and women.
The Chief Minister made these observations while inaugurating a machining center and a mammography bus at LPS Bossard in Kharawar village, Rohtak district. Prior to the formal inauguration, he visited the machining center, industrial unit, and corporate office of LPS Bossard. At the function, he appreciated the company's efforts in healthcare services, observing that it already has two buses for blood donation and general health checkups. The recently launched mammography bus will be offering vital cancer screening for women, an essential step towards early detection and prompt treatment of breast cancer.
Saini also pointed towards the government's ongoing efforts to make the dream of every poor person in the nation come true by giving them homes. During the last decade, four crore deserving families have been provided homes through different government schemes, and efforts are on to take the benefits further. He guaranteed that all 77,000 deserving applicants from Haryana, who have applied under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, will be provided financial help to own their homes.
In particular, in the farm sector, the Chief Minister expressed that Haryana has emerged as the nation's first state to buy 100 percent of the farm produce at the minimum support price (MSP). This step is aimed at ensuring farmers receive a fair amount for their produce, making them financially more secure. In addition to farm aid, women empowerment is also on the priority list of the government through programmes like self-help groups, entrepreneurship schemes, and technological interventions like the Drone Didi programme.
He highlighted the success of the Lakhpati Didi Yojana, which focuses on encouraging financial independence among women. The state has set a target to produce 5,000 Lakhpati Didis—women entrepreneurs earning a sustainable income—with over 1,500 women already achieving this feat. The scheme is aimed at empowering rural women by giving them financial literacy, business opportunities, and access to markets.
Addressing the youth, Saini stressed the government’s commitment to ensuring merit-based employment. Over the past decade, the state has taken significant steps to promote equal development without regional bias. One such initiative includes the establishment of government colleges every 20 kilometers, ensuring accessible education, particularly for girls. As a result, 79 new government colleges have been set up across Haryana, with 32 dedicated exclusively to female students. This step has motivated more young individuals to aim for higher education and study with eagerness to take competitive examinations.
The Chief Minister also declared that the government will offer two lakh government jobs to young people in the next five years, purely on merit. He promised that the recruitment process would be corruption-free and transparent, so that deserving people get jobs without having to spend extra money or using intermediaries.
The function was graced by a number of prominent dignitaries, including LPS Bossard Managing Director Rajesh Jain and former Minister Manish Grover. The Chief Minister's speech highlighted Haryana's dedication to inclusive growth, economic progress, and the empowerment of all sections of society. With prudent policies in hand, the state government continues to be committed to making all people prosperous while being part of India's overall mission to become a developed nation by 2047.
