PeakAmp has partnered with Stefen Electric to manage recycling, compliance and end-of-life processing of lithium-ion batteries from its electric mobility operations
Battery circularity and lifecycle management company PeakAmp, on Tuesday, said that it has partnered with Stefen Electric to enable the management of end-of-life lithium-ion batteries generated from its electric mobility ecosystem.
Under the agreement, PeakAmp will act as the exclusive recycling and environmental compliance partner for Stefen Electric. The company will manage battery waste collection, transport, recycling, and EPR compliance for waste generated from Stefen Electric’s operations.
According to the company's statement, all batteries under this cooperation will be processed in accordance with the Battery Waste Management Rules, 2022 and Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) recommendations, guaranteeing safe and legal disposal.

The company mentioned in a statement that this partnership will help Stefen Electric stay compliant with regulations while ensuring safe disposal and recovery of battery materials. It will also improve tracking across the battery lifecycle, supporting a more organised and accountable EV battery recycling system.
As India’s EV market grows, more batteries are expected to reach end-of-life. Through this partnership, PeakAmp and Stefen Electric aim to build scalable, compliant and environmentally responsible battery waste management solutions.
