An agriculture startup Pehle Jaisa has raised $300,000 (around ₹2.5 crore) which aims to grow its work of turning rural waste into useful fertilizer.

This startup is working to solve two problems at once- village waste and expensive farming. It collects organic waste from villages and converts it into natural fertilizer. This fertilizer is then used by farmers to grow crops naturally without using any harmful chemicals. It also has smart idea of turning waste into useful products in the same village where the waste is collected. This approach not only saves money on transport but cuts pollution, and helps farmers get cheaper farming materials.

Started in 2022, it aims to turn farm and kitchen waste into useful products like plant boosters, soil improvers, and natural fertilizers.

The company is taking a big step towards Pehle Jaisa’s goal of building strong and self-dependent communities. The money will help Pehle Jaisa set up more such centers in villages which will create employment and help local people by providing jobs also makes farming cheaper and better for the environment. Pehle Jaisa wants villages to be able to make their own gas, electricity, and fertilizers using local waste. By doing everything within the same community, collecting waste, processing it, and using the final product, Pehle Jaisa is building a smart system that reduces pollution and environmental impact.
