VinFast collaborates with five partners to strengthen EV

VinFast Indonesia has signed Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with Goodyear Indonesia, Dunlop, Denso Sales Indonesia, CARfix and Scuto Paint to build a broader after-sales service ecosystem for electric vehicles in Indonesia.

Under the MOU with Goodyear Indonesia, Goodyear will supply tires for VinFast electric vehicles and work jointly on maintenance programs and periodic inspections at Goodyear service centers. With its nationwide Autocare network, Goodyear will contribute to wider service coverage and routine vehicle support.

Dunlop and VinFast will collaborate to certify selected Dunlop Shops as Authorized VinFast Service Workshops. These centers will provide EV maintenance, software updates, tire replacement, charging station installation and upkeep, and general vehicle care. Dunlop operates a large service network that will help expand customer access to these services.

Under the MOU with Denso, VinFast will certify the Denso Sales Indonesia workshop chain as an Authorized VinFast Service Workshop. Denso will handle repair, maintenance and vehicle care services based on international standards and support technician training and technology transfer across its network.

CARfix will offer after-sales services including periodic maintenance, oil changes, engine tune-ups, wheel alignment, diagnostic checks and general repairs. These services will be handled by trained technicians in accordance with VinFast-specified procedures.

Under the MOU, Scuto Paint, part of the Scuto Group, will act as VinFast's official body and paint partner in Indonesia. Scuto Paint will manage body repair and painting services for VinFast’s vehicle lineup through its network of facilities equipped with EV-capable technicians and relevant tools.

Kariyanto Hardjosoemarto, CEO of VinFast Indonesia, stated that partnering with Goodyear, Dunlop, Denso Sales Indonesia, CARfix and Scuto Paint supports VinFast’s plans to expand its after-sales service network and develop a standardized service system in the country. These MOUs add to VinFast's existing after-sales network in Indonesia, which covers Jakarta, Surabaya, Bali and other regions.

VinFast entered the Indonesian market in 2024. Indonesia is considered one of the company’s strategic markets due to its large population, growing interest in electric vehicles and government policies supporting EV adoption. VinFast is also developing supporting infrastructure, service networks and financial solutions to serve EV customers in the country.
