Delhi-NCR Wake Up To Pleasant Morning, Likely Rain Ahead

Residents of Delhi-NCR enjoyed a refreshing start to the day. A drop in temperature along with light rain has brought relief from humidity, making the weather comfortable. Seeing the pleasant morning, many residents are wondering, will it rain again today? To answer that, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued its latest weather update.

According to IMD, the sky is expected to remain cloudy today, with chances of thunderstorms and very light to light rainfall. The maximum temperature is likely to be between 36–38°C, while the minimum temperature may hover around 26°C. Easterly winds are blowing over Delhi with speeds up to 11 km/h, gusting to 30 km/h.

All districts including North, South, East, West, and Central Delhi, as well as NCR areas like Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, and Gurgaon, are expected to receive light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms and lightning over the coming days.

Previous Day’s Weather
As per the report, on Thursday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 36.9°C, which is 0.8°C lower than the usual. The minimum temperature stood at 27.7°C. There was no significant change in maximum and minimum temperatures over the past 24 hours. IMD had forecast rainfall with thunderstorms, and the weather followed accordingly.

Weekend Forecast

Looking ahead to the weekend, IMD has predicted similar weather patterns. On Saturday, the maximum temperature is expected to be between 35–37°C, with the minimum around 24–26°C. A cloudy sky with thunderstorms and light rain is likely.

For Sunday, a further drop in temperature is expected. The maximum temperature may range between 32–34°C. The city is likely to see a cloudy sky again, with rain and thunderstorms throughout the day.
