Even though parts of Delhi-NCR have seen light, occasional rain, the strong sunlight has led to intense humidity, causing significant discomfort for residents. While the maximum temperature is around 35°C, the sticky atmosphere and hot winds are making it feel more like 40°C. Over the past 24 hours, the combination of harsh sun and high humidity has left people struggling to cope.

Few days ago, the weather was pleasant with cool breeze, cloudy skies with no sign of the sun, but now the heat has strongly returned. According to IMD, the heatwave may increase by 8-10 August in the city. During those time the maximum temperature might be recorded between 36 to 37 degrees Celsius, and the minimum temperature would stay at 28-29 degrees Celsius. It is also predicted that Delhi NCR would be full of humidity and a double dose of heat is on the way, which may cause significant discomfort for people.

For the day, Delhi witnessed a maximum temperature of 36°C and a low of 24°C. Noida was one degree lower at 35°C, though Ghaziabad, Greater Noida, Faridabad, and Gurugram also witnessed a max around 34°C with lows between 28 and 29°C. The air quality, however, is still in the 'satisfactory' range throughout the city, with AQI levels between 83 and 90—worrying no health danger to the public immediately.

The weather forecast in Delhi tomorrow

Talking about the weather condition in Delhi tomorrow, the Meteorological Department has forecasted partly cloudy conditions on August 8. Also, very light rain or drizzle, with a possibility of thunder at isolated places is predicted. The highest temperature will be around 33 to 35 degrees Celsius, and the minimum can range between 24 to 26 degrees Celsius. The temperature at night will be a recorded below normal, 1–2 degrees lower than normal, while the day time temperature will be near the average seasonal temperature.

During the morning, the winds are expected to blow from the southwest direction at about 15 km/h. In the afternoon, the speed of the wind could fall to below 10 km/h, and during the evening and nighttime, it will be expected to increase but stay under 15 km/h.
