The Defence Research and Development Organisation( DRDO) has achieved a significant step forward in strengthening India’s aquatic defence capability with the development of a new generation of Man- Portable Autonomous Underwater Vehicles( MP- AUVs). Created by the Naval Science & Technological Laboratory( NSTL) in Visakhapatnam, the system is designed to enhance mine countermeasure operations through  independent discovery, analysis, and collaboration in aquatic  surroundings.
