EcoEx and Indian Institute of Technology Goa have signed an MoU to work together on circular economy, environmental compliance, sustainability technologies, training and research.
EcoEx has signed a memorandum of understanding with Indian Institute of Technology Goa to collaborate on research, training, consulting and innovation related to circular economy, environmental compliance and sustainability technologies.
The purpose of the partnership is to leverage the expertise of EcoEx with regard to environmental services and digital compliance with the research capabilities of IIT Goa to devise sustainable solutions for evolving environmental needs in India.
According to the MoU signed between the two, the collaboration shall be centered around the development of models related to the circular economy, value from waste technologies, and environmental traceability technologies.
Moreover, the partnership will aid in creating an environmental, social and governance framework, in line with national and international sustainability practices.
“The partnership between IIT Goa and EcoEx underscores our firm belief in and contribution towards the concept of a circular economy and also our shared dream for Viksit Bharat,” said Akshaya Rath.
Thaseem Thajudeen said, "IIT Goa is a pioneer in pursuing mission LiFE goals, and this MoU represents a concrete step towards India's net zero goals."
He added that the collaboration aligns with broader national objectives to strengthen sustainability Capacities and to promote innovation supporting long-term environmental and climate actions.
