Advancing Lithium-Free Storage Technology
Founded in 2020, EnerVenue focuses on developing energy storage systems that do not need lithium. Lithium often comes with supply chain issues and safety concerns. The company uses nickel-hydrogen battery chemistry, a technology originally created by NASA and refined at Stanford University.
This method allows EnerVenue to provide durable and safe energy storage systems with a much longer life compared to standard lithium-ion batteries. The company's batteries can achieve up to 30,000 cycles, translating to about three cycles per day over a 30-year lifespan.
