Filatex Fashions Boosts Renewable Energy Use in FY25 BRSR
Filatex Fashions’ FY25 BRSR highlights its push for renewable energy, strong employee welfare measures and a continued commitment to ethical and sustainable growth.
Filatex Fashions has shown its promises to grow its business in a fair and sustainable manner. In its BRSR FY25, the company highlights that it is even more committed to working responsibly, building an inclusive workplace and being transparent in the way it is run. At the same time, it is also committed to utilizing more renewable energy, conserving waste and supporting community development initiatives.
The company is putting effort into using more renewable energy. In FY25, Filatex Fashions has consumed total of 73,64,844 GJ of renewable electricity which is high than last year, when compared to its income, energy intensity stood at 0.0054 per rupee of turnover. On the safety side, the company has reported no deaths or serious accidents at workplace in FY25.
Filatex Fashions put its CSR funds into activities that help society in areas of healthcare, education, and environmental care for underprivileged community. The company has a small but diverse workforce of 90 permanent employees out of which 1/3rd are women. Women also make up nearly 1/5th of the board of Directors. All employees get 100% benefits such as PF, ESI, gratuity, health and accident insurance and so on. On top of that, employees also get training in areas like safety, ESG, anti-bribery rules, POSH and leadership development.
The firm follows all 9 principles of the NGRBC, and its policies are also approved by the Board. In FY25, there were no cases of corruption, bribery or conflict of interest. To stay transparent, it also provides proper grievance redressal systems to employees, customers, communities and shareholders so that they can raise concern and get them resolved.
For the future, the company wants to put more focus on making its products sustainable, increasing gender diversity and ensure supply chain compliance. It has also plan to expand the use of renewable energy.
