Uttar Pradesh is set to host the Maha Kumbh 2025 in Prayagraj, It is going to be the grandest, most sacred, and one of the well-managed fairs in Maha Kumbh 2025 in the city of Prayagraj. The entire state is waiting for this to happen. Shri A.K. Sharma, Minister for Urban Development and Energy, UP explained the massive planning that has gone into the organisation of the holy event. It will use modern technology, advanced machinery, and a dedicated workforce to ensure cleanliness, security, and comfort for all.

With more than 70 million people having taken a holy dip in the Sangam so far, more than 450 million devotees will be expected by February 26. Sanitation and cleaning efforts in 4,000 hectare Kumbh Mela area have praised the pilgrims coming from various parts of the world. It is serving all visitors free meal that epitomizes unity in equality.

The rarity of such an astronomical occurrence after 144 years makes the event even more sacred and thus attracts more worshippers who would love to be part of this phenomenon. On Mauni Amavasya, January 29, the second Shahi Snan is going to attract record crowds, for which all the necessary arrangements are in place to handle the inflow.

Shri Sharma stressed that this year's Maha Kumbh not only celebrates India's ancient culture, heritage, and spirituality but also presents the country's modern capabilities. The event, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, reflects India's technological advancement and organizational efficiency. Measures include the deployment of 2,700 AI-powered cameras, drone surveillance, and GIS mapping-based QR codes on over 50,000 electric poles. 250 water ATMs, 58,000 water taps, and over 150,000 toilets have been installed.

Shri Sharma said that cleanliness is being maintained to the highest standards with the help of 15,000 sanitation workers and over 1,000 machines. Security and crowd management are also on priority so that the festival could be conducted smoothly and peacefully.

Maha Kumbh has been recognized as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO and is hailed as the world's largest convergence of faith. Shri Sharma quoted Goswami Tulsidas to emphasize the spiritual significance of Prayagraj, describing the event as a unifying force that brings together people of all religions and communities to experience India's rich heritage and faith.

The minister expressed pride in how the Maha Kumbh has become a symbol of India’s unity, cultural richness, and organizational excellence, captivating the world’s attention as it unfolds in Prayagraj.
