Mirova Invests USD 10 million In Ecoligo To Take Vietnamese Solar Power Next Level.
The Paris-based sustainable investment firm Mirova has invested USD 10 million in the Berlin-based ecoligo. Ecoligo finances solar projects in emerging markets. This is going to be Mirova's first investment in the Vietnamese market and further cements Vietnam's entry into renewable energy. The funds are going to finance solar rooftop projects in Vietnam, thereby allowing a variety of businesses in the manufacturing, agriculture, healthcare, and hospitality sectors to take up clean energy.
Because of a unique financing model, ecoligo is offering funding to enable companies to build solar power installations in emerging markets without paying for the setup cost.
