Shakti Pumps showcased clean energy and water management solutions at its product launch meet in Guwahati.
Shakti Pumps (India) Limited’s Product Launching Meet 2026 highlighted India’s Northeast region’s increasing demand for solar pumping solutions, energy-efficient pumps, sustainable water management, clean energy technologies and agricultural solutions. It was done in cooperation with its authorised channel partner Tirupati Pump House, helmed by Mr. Ballov Regmi.
It was an event where dealers, channel partners, industry representatives and stakeholders from all over the Northeast region were gathered together. The event underscored the importance of innovative pumping systems and renewable energy solutions in meeting water management and agricultural needs.
Technology and regional development are discussed with government representatives.
Mr. Kishore Upadhyay, Chairman, Assam Small Industries Development Corporation (ASIDC), Government of Assam was the Chief Guest for the programme. He addressed the gathering and spoke about the importance of innovation, industrial development, self-reliance and technology-based solutions for economic development of the region.
Some government officials and industry representatives were also present such as Mr. Gopal Chetry, Under Secretary, Irrigation Department, Government of Assam; Mr. Ghanashyam Kalita, Additional Chief Engineer, Irrigation Department, Government of Assam; Mr. Krishna Bhujel, President, AGS; Mr. Akikul Aman, Executive Engineer, Boko Chaygaon Chamaria Division, Irrigation Department, Government of Assam; Mr. Minhaz Ahmed, Senior Manager, Punjab National Bank; and Mr. Abhinas Talukdar, Assistant Engineer, PHE Department, Government of Assam.

At the product launch meet Shakti Pumps showcased its portfolio of energy-efficient technologies such as solar-powered pumping systems, designed to enhance water availability and facilitate sustainable farming practices. The company also exhibited their stainless steel pumps and smart water management solutions for different customer/industrial demands.
It coincided with Assam Global Solar Expo 2026 and the heightened interaction with stakeholders from Northeast India, reflecting the company's growing presence in the region. The programme had discussions on the new opportunities in energy transition towards renewables, water efficient irrigation, and technology-based solutions.

Mr. Ramesh Patidar, Managing Director, Shakti Pumps (India) Limited stated in his address that the northeast region is a big market for sustainable water and energy solutions. He said that the company is committed to helping develop the region by leveraging technology, partnerships and solutions based on customers' needs.
Mr. Ankit Patidar, Director and Chief Marketing Officer, Shakti Group stated that the area is an opportunity for innovation and growth. The company is expanding its partners and working to create solutions to meet the needs of farmers, businesses, and communities," he added.

Mr. Rajesh Hingorani, Deputy General Manager, Shakti Pumps, gave a talk on the company's product line, technological advancements, and prospects for expansion. The session offered a glimpse into the company's methods and strategies for water conservation and energy-efficient pumping systems.
The company also credited the dealers, channel partners, guests and stakeholders who attended the event. Special mention was made for the special effort made by Mr Ballov Regmi and the Tirupati Pump House team in organizing the programme.
