Signature Global Foundation Pledges To Plant 25,000 Trees

Signature Global Foundation organised a large-scale tree plantation drive under its campaign “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” at Government Model Sanskriti Senior Secondary School, Taoru, along with nine other schools.

Under this initiative, the Foundation has pledged to plant 25,000 trees, reinforcing its commitment to creating a greener, cleaner and safer environment for future generations.

The core message of the programme was to educate children about environmental conservation and inspire them to grow into responsible future citizens. A large number of students, teachers, residents and environmental enthusiasts actively participated in the drive. Everyone planted saplings together and also pledged to nurture them.

Speaking on the occasion, Pradeep Aggarwal, Founder & Chairman of Signature Global Foundation, said, “In our previous initiative, we witnessed how the participation of communities, eminent personalities, and youth transformed ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ into an emotional mass movement. The enthusiasm shown by children in Taoru and nearby schools has further encouraged us. I believe that planting a tree on birthdays, anniversaries or any special occasion can bring about a positive change. If we move ahead collectively, the fight against global warming can gain real momentum.”

“The severe pollution levels experienced recently in Delhi-NCR have made it clear that we need solutions, not complaints, and trees are the simplest, most effective, and long-term solution. Our mission is to expand green zones and reduce this problem at its roots. Signature Global Foundation has set a target of planting over 100,000 trees,” Further, he added.

The programme saw the active participation of Mataji Smt. Geeta Aggarwal, Co-Founder & Managing Director, Ravi Aggarwal, and Director, Nikhil Aggarwal, along with more than 100 students from Amity University Haryana.

Employees of Signature Global Foundation, residents, parents and school authorities also joined hands in the plantation drive.
