Textiles Ministry Leads "Swachhata Hi Seva" with Nationwide Drives
The Ministry of Textiles conducted different activities as part of Swachhata Hi Seva 2025 campaign, all across the country.
As part of the Swachhata Hi Seva 2025 campaign, offices under the Ministry of Textiles conducted various activities across the country.
A medical camp was organized at the Central Silk Board (CSB), Bangalore. The Office of the Development Commissioner for Handicrafts held the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” plantation drive for office beautification. The Office of the Development Commissioner for Handlooms along with the Weavers Service Centre (WSC), Bhubaneswar, organized an awareness campaign on hygiene, sanitation, and sustainability in daily life.
The Jute Corporation of India Limited (JCI) conducted cleaning of a railway station and tracks under its Public Area Cleaning Campaign in Nadia district, and held Safai Mitras Suraksha Shivirs, providing free health check-ups and medicines to more than 100 sanitation workers.
Central Cottage Industries Corporation of India (CCIC) carried out trimming and pruning of trees at its Janpath premises in New Delhi, while the National Jute Board (NJB) organised a Cleanliness Drive at New Town, Kolkata.
Through these activities, the Ministry of Textiles reaffirmed its commitment to the goals of Swachhata Hi Seva 2025 and the vision of a cleaner and more sustainable India.
