Schneider Electric launches Zeigo Hub to help companies cut Scope 3 emissions through AI and supplier tools.
Schneider Electric, the world leader in energy management and automation, launched Zeigo™ Hub, the revolutionary digital platform designed to enable businesses to tackle the urgent problem of Scope 3 emissions by enabling their suppliers to decarbonize. Zeigo Hub integrates state-of-the-art technology, artificial intelligence, and collaboration capabilities to support global sustainability ambitions by providing a scalable and equitable solution to onboard suppliers across any industry and geography.
Zeigo Hub's launch is a calculated strategy by Schneider Electric to meet increasing global pressure on companies to increase emissions transparency and performance in sustainability across their value chains. Scope 3 emissions—indirect emissions found in a company's value chain, for example, those arising from suppliers—are notoriously difficult to monitor and combat. Schneider's new platform will make it possible while maximizing influence through digital innovation.
“A decarbonized supply chain is no longer a ‘nice to have’—it’s a strategic imperative,” said Laura Eve, Vice President of SaaS Sustainability Solutions at Schneider Electric. “With Zeigo Hub, we’re equipping companies with the tools and insights they need to transform their supply chains into engines of sustainable resilience.”
What sets Zeigo Hub apart is its focus on scalability, inclusivity, and two-way collaboration. In contrast to more traditional systems that only accept static information, Zeigo Hub is designed to involve all sizes and levels of maturity of suppliers in a dynamic cycle of ongoing action, learning, and improvement. Onboarding experiences, educational content integrated throughout, benchmarking dashboards, and decarbonization toolkits all enable suppliers to better navigate their sustainability journey. The platform supports customized learning paths and monitors supplier participation, emission trends, and science-based target performance, allowing data-driven climate action.
To make the platform available to all, Schneider Electric has launched a sponsor-funded model of engagement. This involves sponsorship from organizations such as large buying organizations, who sponsor the use fees of the platform, breaking cost barriers for small suppliers. This open platform allows for closer collaboration and end-to-end participation across the value chain. Zeigo Hub also supports international environmental reporting standards like CDP, CSRD, and TCFD to ensure easy compliance and allow internal and external sustainability reporting.
Being Schneider Electric's initial solution to be rolled out as part of its AI-native platform, Zeigo Hub is equipped with state-of-the-art agentic AI capabilities that are aimed towards efficiency and improving suppliers' experiences. The platform utilizes AI to optimize onboarding through web scraping and upload capabilities, automate invitations, and upgrade program management for the sponsoring ones. Intelligent automation eliminates administrative work while driving participation and accountability.
"Zeigo Hub is a historic step forward in supply chain sustainability," added Eve. "It's about making ambition a reality—enabling every supplier, every partner, and every organization to build a net-zero future."
The introduction of Zeigo Hub represents the pinnacle of Schneider Electric's vast supply chain decarbonization expertise. The organization itself has launched over 20 global initiatives in 2021 alone, with highly praised co-initiatives like Energize, Catalyze, and Materialize being particularly well known. These initiatives have successfully utilized over 2,700 suppliers via 40+ co-sponsored brand initiatives. Zeigo Hub will now be the technology hub for such initiatives, both optimizing their performance and causing greater accountability.
By making real-time data sharing possible, providing tools to reduce emissions, and supply networks that build education, Zeigo Hub promotes the culture of mutual responsibility for constant improvement. It enables companies to integrate sustainability into their procurement and operational strategies, reducing greenhouse gases measurably as well as increasing supply chain resiliency.
Its release also indicates Schneider Electric's overall dedication to shaping the world for climate action, as exemplified by its engagement with historical events like Climate Week NYC 2024. With Zeigo Hub, Schneider Electric continues to push innovation at the crossroads of technology and sustainability—to enable organizations worldwide to transition from climate ambition to concrete action taken.
In an increasingly transforming globe in which sustainability is increasingly becoming a business-critical imperative, Zeigo Hub presents timely, compelling, and powerful solution. It transforms what is possible in supplier collaboration and carbon mitigation, creating a new benchmark for climate action at scale together.
