BizDateUp facilitates a ₹100 crore alliance to deploy 10,000 electric two-wheelers across India in collaboration with BattRE, EV91, and evpe. The project aims to transform last-mile logistics, reduce 25,000 tonnes of CO₂ annually, and generate over 10,000 green jobs.

BizDateUp Facilitates ₹100 Crore EV Alliance to Deploy 10,000 Electric Two-Wheelers Across India

In a maiden development in India's clean mobility ecosystem, BizDateUp facilitated ₹100 crore partnership among electric vehicle players—BattRE Electric Mobility, EV91, and evpe—to deploy 10,000 electric two-wheelers in India. The strategic alliance has the potential to transform last-mile logistics, increase green transport, and generate more than 10,000 green-collar jobs, and cut carbon emission by a significant amount. The "deployment" is the largest electric vehicle (EV) roll-out in the history of India, and it sails from Q2 2025 with the vision of building a cleaner and more efficient network of logistics for city and semi-urban markets. This tie-up has come at a point when the India EV sector is witnessing a geometrical increase.

According to information put out by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways' Vahan portal, electric vehicle sales in calendar year 2024 stood at 1.95 million units compared to 1.53 million units in 2023. Electric two-wheelers alone added 1.15 million units, a rise of 33% year-on-year. Among the major drivers of this boom are government-friendly policies, growing consumer awareness, and better penetration of EVs in Tier II and Tier III cities. Jeet Chandan, Founder and Director of BizDateUp, was instrumental in consolidating the alliance. BizDateUp is India's largest facilitator of startup ecosystems and is known for offering end-to-end business solutions and strategic consulting. Chandan spearheaded BizDateUp to close the deal and ensure the alliance is in support of India's clean energy ambitions. The partnership is business expansion but also an initiative at reducing India's socio-economic and environmental problems.

Under the agreement, BattRE Electric Mobility will produce and provide the electric two-wheelers.

The electric two-wheelers are specifically made to cater to the requirements of the logistics services in terms of performance and minimal operating cost. EV91, a rapidly growing fleet aggregator in logistics, will put the vehicles on the streets of towns and cities to build an energy-efficient last-mile delivery network. Enabling this operating changeover, evpe—a digital financing platform with a deep understanding of EVs—will provide flexible finance models to enable vehicle acquisition and fleet growth, particularly among small businesses and emerging market drivers. The scheme is estimated to reduce around 25,000 tonnes of CO₂ each year. By concentrating on clean energy solutions for logistics, it hopes to assist in addressing air pollution in urban centers as well as the nation's climate objectives in general. The collaboration will also create more than 10,000 new jobs, generating employment in vehicle operations, maintenance, and ancillary services, thus stimulating the regional economy.

This launch capitalizes on the pace of India's EV policy push, including support under the FAME (Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of Electric Vehicles) scheme and state subsidies. While several companies have launched EVs for individual mobility, this launch is aimed at the commercial segment, which is key to lowering transport emissions and making sustainability sustainable in the long term.

BizDateUp's entry into this partnership underscores the growing significance of ecosystem enablers in India's startup and clean tech ecosystems.

The company has carved a niche for itself by connecting startups to investors, industry players, and policymakers. During the financial year 2023-24, BizDateUp invested in more than 25 startups, raised a $10 million fund, and engaged with more than 1000 active angel investors. The firm also posted a mean return of 3.5X, cementing its status as a leader in building scalable, social impact companies. Each member contributes strengths to the partnership. BattRE Electric Mobility contributes technical acumen and scalable manufacturing capacity. EV91 contributes access to logistics networks, maximizing EV use in high-delivery volume geographies. evpe contributes the financial layer required to drive adoption by overcoming cost hurdles. The trio collectively aim to create a self-fueling clean mobility ecosystem that complies with India's goal of achieving net-zero emissions by the year 2070 and short-term EV adoption goals.

The rollout plan also involves targeting smaller towns and cities, where two-wheeler delivery has been growing based on the growth of e-commerce. The geographic distribution will be optimally balanced so that the urban-skewed rollout pattern adopted by other EV launches is avoided. The vehicles will be phased in sequentially into different segments such as grocery delivery, courier, and hyperlocal logistics so that it is beneficial for various use cases.

Conclusion:-

With the launch of this ₹100 crore alliance, BizDateUp, BattRE, EV91, and evpe have laid the groundwork for a gigantic overhaul of India's last-mile delivery infrastructure.
Addition of 10,000 e-two-wheelers will not only detox the nation from fuel dependency and emissions but also generate employment and ensure even broader adoption of EVs. With a strategic emphasis on scalability, accessibility, and sustainability, the program supports a shift towards India's mobility segment and projects the synergistic strength between startup companies, manufacturers, and funders.
