Light rain is expected in Delhi-NCR later in the afternoon, which may make the weather more pleasant. A slight drop in temperature is likely to bring relief from the heat.

Delhi Weather Update: Cloudy Morning, Rain Likely Later in the Day

Delhi is once again under cloudy skies. On the morning of Monday, a noticeable improvement in the weather condition seen in the city. As per the data released by the IMD, residents are likely to see light rain in the afternoon which could result in drop of temperature and make condition more comfortable and cooler.

People woke up to light rain and pleasant weather during early morning at around 6 a.m., when the temperature was around 19°C. Skies are expected to remain cloudy throughout the day with a little chance of rainfall.

According to the IMD, the maximum temperature of the city is expected to remain between 29°C to 32°C. While the minimum is expected to stay around 14°C to 15°C. Winds are expected to blow at the speed of 20 to 25 km/h. In the past 24 hours, due to strong winds slight chill felt during the evening. Although, bright sunshine on Sunday increased the temperatures which has now reached up to 29°C.

IMD Forecast
According to the IMD, the sky is expected to remain cloudy in the morning, with chances of light rain in some areas in the afternoon. The rainfall may bring the temperature down and has already made the weather condition pleasant and comfortable.

Weather Condition from March 24 to 28
The IMD has also released five days weather outlook which indicates that temperatures may show gradual rise between March 24 to 28 during daytime and it is expected to approach 32 Degrees Celsius. While the nighttime temperatures may remain at 16 degrees. It is expected that there will be partly cloudy conditions during this period, along with moderate winds with a speed of 15 to 20 km/h. The pleasant weather that began in mid-March will continue for now.

Recent Weather Trend
Delhi experienced thunderstorm and light rainfall on March 18, 19 and 20 after showers on March 15 which brought the temperatures down and kept weather cool and pleasant. People have again switched off their air conditioner and cooler off and shifted back to fan since the weather is already cool. There is a prediction of rise in temperature after March 29 but until March 28 there is no strong indication of heat in Delhi-NCR. For now, the weather is expected to remain same.
