Enlight Metals Commences Manufacturing Of Solar Structures; Unveils Initial Product Portfolio

Enlight Metals, on Monday, said that it has entered the solar manufacturing space, starting production of mounting structures used in large solar projects. The company said it will follow a contract manufacturing model, working with partners in Pune, Raipur and Faridabad to speed up supply and keep costs in check.

Its first set of products includes C-channels, Z-sections, slotted angles and structural pipes. These are made using Galvalume steel to handle corrosion and rough weather, which is critical for solar plants that run for decades.

The statement said that the structures are built to last over 25 years, in line with the life of most solar projects. The company is also using tools like AI-based demand planning and supply tracking to cut delays and reduce waste.

Vedant Goel, Director at Enlight Metals, said the push into solar comes as developers look for more reliable components. “There is a growing need for strong and durable structures in solar projects. We want to focus on quality and long-term performance,” he said.

The move comes at a time when India is scaling up renewable energy capacity, and demand for core components like mounting structures is rising.

Going ahead, the company plans to add products like cable trays and pre-engineered building parts to its portfolio, aiming to serve a wider range of infrastructure and clean energy projects.
