Satyukt Launches SFGC Sugarcane App at DCM Shriram Unit Under MeitY-Supported STPI Programme

Satyukt Analytics deploys the SFGC Sugarcane app at DCM Shriram’s Loni unit under the MeitY-backed STPI Smart Farm Grant Challenge. The satellite-powered mobile application delivers crop health, moisture, and harvest insights to sugarcane farmers, aiming to enhance decision-making and farm productivity through remote sensing technology. This project showcases a successful public-private agritech collaboration driving innovation in Indian agriculture.

Satyukt Launches SFGC Sugarcane App at DCM Shriram Unit Under MeitY-Supported STPI Programme

Satyukt Analytics, an agritech firm headquartered in Bengaluru, has formally released its satellite-powered mobile solution, SFGC Sugarcane, at DCM Shriram Ltd.'s Loni unit. Encouraging creative and scalable smart farming solutions, this launch is part of its success under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY)-backed Smart Farm Grant Challenge (STPI-SFGC).

The SFGC sugarcane platform features a mobile application made just for farmers and a digital dashboard geared for sugar mills. Built to help the sugarcane agriculture environment, both tools use satellite-driven remote sensing to provide real-time, usable data. Insights on crop health, soil moisture conditions, and best harvesting schedules are among the main features of the app.

Under actual farming conditions, DCM Shrirams Loni site is testing this electronic solution. Included in the execution is product development, several field trials, constant improvement, farmer onboarding, and data-backed performance assessment. The objective is to directly include user input from field personnel and farmers into the product in order to guarantee adaptability and on-ground relevance.

Hands-on training events were arranged by the Satyukt team for DCM Shriram staff members as well as nearby farmers. Live displays of both the app and dashboard features, with focus on how to analyze satellite data for better decisions along the crop lifecycle, were part of these workshops. This method seeks to maximise agricultural output while making data adoption for farmers simpler.

To provide this solution, Satyukt Analytics is using its fundamental skills in machine learning and satellite technology. The company offers agricultural insights on important factors including soil and crop condition, moisture level, pest and illness risks, and regional weather trends. Using this data, farmers and other stakeholders in agriculture can make wise decisions on resource allocation, irrigation, and harvest times, hence increasing both sustainability and yield.

The SFGC Sugarcane app's release is one of many efforts to make precision agriculture technology available to India's ancient agricultural industry. The project seeks to promote invention and scalable solutions across several agri-value chains with governmental support via MeitY and operational help from the Software Technology Parks of India (STPI).

The partnership between Satyukt Analytics and DCM Shriram Ltd under the STPI-SFGC model demonstrates the continuous momentum in Indian agritech's public-private alliances. Moreover, it shows how combining remote sensing techniques with daily agricultural activities could help to cut inefficiencies and improve farm-level decision-making.

For improving output and dealing with problems including shifting weather patterns and resource scarcity, India's agricultural sector is increasingly turning towards data-driven solutions. The SFGC Sugarcane deployment is presented as a model for greater use of such technologies throughout the nation's agricultural scene.

The success of such pilots might set the path for repeatable techniques in other areas and crops, therefore changing the way farming information is gathered, analyzed, and employed at the grass roots level. Still evident: to create sustainable, smart agricultural systems that fit national goals of food security, environmental resilience, and rural empowerment.
