Suzuki to Start Flex- Energy Vehicle product in India in 2025, Bets on Biogas for Clean Mobility

Suzuki Motor Corporation and its Indian arm, Maruti Suzuki, have verified that product of flex- energy vehicles (FFVs) will begin in India this financial time — motioning a major transition toward volition, cleanser mobility. FFVs can operate on petrol blended with ethanol, supporting India’s drive to expand E20/E27 composites and reduce transport sector emigrations.

Biogas and Rural Livelihoods
Suzuki’s India strategy extends beyond vehicles with a pioneering biogas programme. In cooperation with India’s vast dairy cooperatives, Suzuki is erecting biogas shops that convert cattle manure into energy and organic fertiliser. The performing biogas will power CNG vehicles (one in three Maruti buses vended run on CNG), farther lowering lifecycle line emigrations and lifting pastoral inflows through cow soil procurement.

Aligned With National Net Zero Drive
This action links clean mobility, energy security, and pastoral development — helping achieve public tone- adequacy in energy and fertiliser. As India prepares tighter carbon regulations and ambitious clean transport targets, Suzuki’s FFVs and biogas systems support both pastoral India and the wider decarbonisation charge.

Request Impact
As the largest vehicle dealer in India, Maruti Suzuki’s shift to FFVs and biogas- linked force chains could shape assiduity norms for broader relinquishment of indispensable energies and give India a significant edge in global bus and sustainability requests.
